Young blood helps to fight aging

American scientists have found that the transfusion of young people helps fight age-related diseases. The data were published by the scientific journal Nature Medicine. Scientists shared their research results.

The main object of study were older laboratory mice that received transfusions of young blood relatives. As it turned out, this procedure slows down the aging process in vivo. Especially pronounced changes are observed in the nervous system: young blood saves memory and improves learning.

Note that a positive trend has been recorded in respect of all organs and systems. Scientists believe that all the matter in the activation of Creb protein. This connection is located in the hippocampus and regulates the aging process.

In the future, the researchers plan to conduct appropriate experiments on volunteers. When success you can think about the development of new drugs against aging.
