Women who gave birth prematurely, breast milk is more nutritious

Concentration of nutrients in breast milk in women who gave birth to a premature baby is significantly higher in comparison with the average. This is evidenced by research scientists from Aarhus University. They conducted analysis of breast milk of 45 women. The results tells the newspaper The Times of India.

Scientists determined the concentration of several metabolites in breast milk two weeks after birth. It turned out that there are significant differences in the composition of milk from mothers of premature and women, to make your child a full term. Interestingly, two weeks later, the milk in the two groups did not differ.

It is possible that researchers found one of the mechanisms of compensation of prematurity that help the baby to get more nutrients. So nature is trying to bring the physical development of a newborn on a normal level.
