Women more often than men have a dependence on smartphones

A group of researchers from South Korea have proved that women are significantly more likely than men to become attached to their phones and other gadgets.

In total the survey was attended by 1.2 thousand people. Researchers found that both men and women can be dependent on smartphones. However, among women these individuals much more. "Phenomenon, I must say, bought a few dismal, when people literally become hostages to their own devices," the researchers say.

To similar conclusion came American scientists in 2014. They found that young women using the phone an average of up to 600 minutes every day. Among men the figure was around 460 minutes.

Apparently, women spend more time on social networks. Men also gadgets mainly for watching the news and calls.
