A group of scientists from the United States tried to figure out where in man there is self-confidence. According to the developed theory, the human brain is like a computer during processing situations. When the situation requires confidence, this quality occurs as if by itself.

In the experiment, attended by several thousand volunteers from America. At first people listened to the clicks of the fingers. Required to determine which of the clicks sounded faster and faster. The parameters of the clicks were estimated on a special scale.

In the second phase before volunteers raised the question: in which of the two fear people more. The choice had to be done quickly. Scientists noticed that the presence of spur to action factors in the brain include complex mechanisms. The experts say that in difficult situations a person finds better and more accurate decisions than a computer.
