Western nutritionists drew attention to mango

Mango has become a new favorite among nutritionists. This product, they say, helps to cope with excess weight. Regular intake of mango helps to stabilize the intestinal microflora, and has a positive effect on the body, writes The Daily Mail.

The composition of the flora in the intestine under the influence of excess fats can vary. Mango, experts believe, returns the biome of the intestine to normal.

Scientists conducted an experiment. Lab rats depending on food type were divided into four groups. Within 12 weeks, animals were fed on a specific diet with different ratios of protein, fat and carbohydrates.

Getting 10% of calories from mango neutralized the influence of large amounts of fat, the study showed. Fruit increases the population of beneficial bacteria and suppress the growth of bacteria, influence the development of obesity, of diabetes.
