Scientists came to the conclusion that the fluid deficit can be a decisive factor in the weight gain. Lack of water in the body can be a dangerous condition. That's why experts from the University of Michigan are advised to monitor their own water balance.

The study involved 10 000 inhabitants of America. The volunteers were asked to share with researchers information about fluid intake for several weeks.

It turned out that with the shortage of drinking water there is an additional risk of accumulation of excess weight. The researchers conclude: water is one of the effective ways of preventing obesity.

The human body needs not just drinking water. The liquid should be obtained from vegetables and fruits, summarize the researchers.
