HIV is a viral disease associated with damage to the human immune system. Scientists from America has developed the concept of a drug that prevents HIV. The tool in the future may replace the traditional methods of maintenance therapy of HIV-infected people.

The drug was named eCD4-IG. Active ingredient blocks the connection of the virus to receptors on cells.
