Two German students have become winners at the world Championships in solving mathematical problems in mind, which was attended by young men and children.
Participants competed in the addition of six-digit numbers, multiplication and division of fractions and the extraction of roots. The championship was attended by a total of thirty-five students, representing eight countries. To resolve the forty-five pages, which contained a variety of tasks, each participant had two hours.

In the end the victory went to twelve-year-old Martin Drees and seventeen-year-old Andreas Berger, three times before becoming world champion. The young man managed to find the correct answer when solving eighty percent of the samples.
