Scientists from Aarhus University have established a sense of trust makes hearts beat in unison in the truest sense of the word. These were installed in the experiment with the participation of 37 pairs of volunteers. Subjects were first asked to gather together a machine out of LEGO, says Zee News.
People from the first group just collected cars from the second – played a game that is built on trust. Scientists noticed that when this feeling appeared immediately two people of the pair, increased force of heart contractions and rhythms coincide. The reasons this happened is unclear.
In another experiment, the experts from the University of Georgia proved that gullible people have the characteristics of the structure of the brain. Usually they have more gray matter in ... the ventromedial prefrontal cortex. This area is responsible for the assessment of social rewards.
