To an unexpected conclusion reached by experts from the Institute of Carnegi Mellon: an excess of sex between partners can cause family discord. The study incorporated information about married couples aged 35 to 60 years. This writes the Journal of Economic Behavior&Organization.
The volunteers were asked to complete three questionnaires: before the study, during the study and at the end of the experiment. It turned out, couples engaged in sex every day, quickly grew sick of each other, stopped talking and tried to move away. The reverse behavior was recorded in pairs, engaged in sex about once a week.
Measured sexual life, scientists believe, the best option that strengthens family relationships. After 40 years, most couples don't think about the frequency of sex, prefer not quantity, but quality. The study proves once again, balance is needed in all spheres of life.
