To consume more than five servings of fruits and vegetables doesn't make sense, say scientists

Scientists from the world health organization (who) believe that consume more than five servings of vegetables a day just doesn't make sense. One serving is 80 grams of vegetables and fruits or a fruit, writes the BBC.

Previously, scientists from Britain found that the human body needs more plant foods. However, recent research has proven that after consumption of a certain amount of the positive effects of fruit and vegetables remains in the same place.

Note, most people eats in a day not more than four servings of plant foods, so the recommendation of scientists makes sense. Experts conducted an analysis of 16 studies involving 833 thousand people. 56 thousand people in the study died for various reasons. In most cases, consumption of fruit and vegetables reduced the risk of death from any disease.
