Poor memory for faces is a common phenomenon among people. However, the worst form of face blindness or prosopagnosia hurts only 2% of the world's population, reports The Daily Mail. In some cases, people cannot remember faces, even those closest to you.
Then patients include other mechanisms of memorization: recognition of person by the hair, gait, voice or clothing. But this trick does not always work. Scientists for the rapid diagnosis of face blindness have developed a special test.
The system is simple. It consists of 20 questions. Positions or confirm, or to refute. For example, "I often confuse people they know with strangers" or "Sometimes it's hard for me to watch movies since I don't recognize heroes."
Note, this text was the first way adequate diagnosis of prosopagnosia for doctors. Now they have an effective method of detecting deviations.
