As it turned out, this habit can also equate to a range of harmful, because it reduces the time allotted for sleep, and most importantly, has a negative impact on sexual activity of man, reports the New York Daily News.

The data obtained in the course of an online survey, which was conducted among nearly 2,000 people in the UK different age categories, were very interesting.

15% of respondents said they have a habit of "sitting" on the Internet in the evenings. By their own admission, this habit has led to the fact that they began to rarely have sex.

50% of respondents admitted that because of the habit to haul in the bed laptops and tablets, they were later to fall asleep, somewhere around midnight, while, a few years ago with 10 o'clock in the evening they fell into the arms of Morpheus.

25% of respondents spend time in bed, flipping through web pages, 15% of respondents watch movies and TV shows.

Only the older generation prefer to read in bed books the old fashioned way.

They also highlighted the influence of electronic devices for sleep and sex. The TeleNav survey showed that 30% of Americans prefer to spend their time playing electronic games, instead of sex.
