The tendency to increased blood cholesterol can be inherited

Experts from the Committee on nutrition of the French society of Pediatrics found that the tendency to increased levels of cholesterol can be laid at the genetic level and transmitted to the child from the parents.

High cholesterol is a real problem faced by doctors in most countries. The cholesterol - binding substance required for adequate functioning of the cell wall. However, its high level leads to the formation of plaques in the blood vessels, heart and other organs.
