The legislative body of the Russian Federation adopted in the first reading the draft law, which prohibits the advertising of abortion as traditional methods and using the methods of folk medicine, reports "RIA Novosti". The bill represents a 56 legislative acts, which correspond to the law "On citizens ' health protection" from 1 January 2012. However, the draft act defines the types of organizations that are eligible to provide mental health care, and describes the conditions under which it should be provided.
In addition, the new draft law proposes to increase the age limit minors 14 and 15 years for a medical examination, which requires the consent of at least one of the parents. However, it involves increasing from 16 to 18 years of age who are under age persons who can personally give consent for medical intervention to provide substance abuse treatment and medical examinations to identify alcohol, drug and toxic substances.
The document also clarifies the procedure for the issuance of free drugs for the treatment of HIV-infected outpatient regional and Federal health agencies.
Under the new law, manufacturers and sellers of drugs are not entitled to motivate doctors to the meaning of any medicinal product, namely: to give medical gifts, handing them the money to pay for their entertainment, or recreation. It is also forbidden to enter into agreements with physicians, according to which the latter undertake to recommend certain medications to patients. In addition, the bill provides for a prohibition on the award of the medical staff of samples of drugs for their further transfer patients.
