The Smoking ban has reduced the number of heart attacks in Ireland by 40%

Researchers from Ireland have published the results of the ban of Smoking in public places. Only one law has reduced the number of heart attacks in the country by 40%. Researchers analyzed 77 studies conducted in 21 countries. It turned out that the Smoking ban really helps in the fight for the lives of citizens. The restrictions on smokers has a positive effect on the health of non-smokers.

Just a few years ago it was possible to smoke in most bars, at bus stops. Now smokers are allocated special places where they can't interfere with non-citizens. The law reduced not only the frequency of manifestations of diseases of the cardiovascular system, but the number of smokers.

However, not all experts are convinced that it is possible to conduct a direct relationship between the number of heart attacks and the anti-Smoking law.
