The scientists turned off the aging gene in mice

Scientists have taken another step to the discovery of eternal youth. Experts from Harvard University and New South Wales conducted experiments in which they found the genes responsible for aging, says RT.

The first tests were conducted on laboratory mice. Scientists have found and turned off the genes responsible for the aging process. Genes were off by special molecules and natural proteins. Now we are talking about clinical trials on volunteers from among the people.

"We have discovered genes that control how the body fights aging, and if it is right to activate them, they have a very powerful effect, you can even turn aging back, at least in mice," says David Sinclair, head of the research group.

Scientists are confident of success. This knowledge will help in the development of a new generation of drugs to restore youthful cells.
