The researchers grew light in the laboratory

Scientists from the University of Texas conducted a successful experiment in growing artificial lung tissue in vitro. As the foundations were used baby light unsuitable for further transplantation. The authority for the experiments was obtained from dead children, injured in an accident.

The scientists mixed in vitro connective tissue one sample light added to it the cellular material of the second light. The resulting mixture was immersed in a special solution. After a month of cells entered the phase of reproduction, after a certain time was obtained full lung tissue.

Scientist Joan Nichols said - "the experiment took more than a year. Only now, you can argue about the success in this area. The obtained results are incredible. Before getting artificial organs in the laboratory was fantastic, now it has become reality."

The resulting body is undergoing research. It is to be transplanted pig for scientific purposes.
