The Ministry of health of Russia plans to consider a proposal to ban the uncontrolled sale of electronic cigarettes in the country. The authors offer suggestions to restrict distribution of the product and to equate e-cigarettes to medicines sold on prescription.
Electronic cigarettes may disappear from the shelves of regular stores and move in the pharmacy network. The authors point to the need of quality control of artificial nicotine. They believe that if the government will deal with this problem, decrease the number of smokers and people with cancer.
Now electronic cigarettes is a very affordable way to satisfy nicotine hunger. To buy them can children and pregnant women. This approach is totally unacceptable. Note, the topic has been raised for consideration and actively discussed in the Ministry of health.
