Rich people live longer than poor for 10 years. That is the conclusion of one recent study was made by scientists from East Tennessee state University.
The researchers analyzed the incomes of people in 50 States. So managed to select 50 groups of people with different income levels. Scientists have correlated the obtained information with the life expectancy of people living in these States.
It turned out that in the poorest regions people live shorter lives, and rich longer. The difference in life expectancy between rich and poor Americans is on average 10 years.
Note that the highest income in the States is about 90 thousand dollars on average, the lowest – 24.2 thousand.
