The first signs of a stroke

Today is such an insidious disease, as stroke is becoming more common, caused numerous adverse factors. Unfortunately, in our days, the disease has ceased to be of age. A stroke can happen even to the teenager and lead to disastrous consequences.

Stroke is called sudden stroke, blockage or rupture of cerebral vessels. If the blood vessels are clogged, it is developing ischemic stroke, and if they break - hemorrhagic.

It is very important to detect signs of stroke in women. The effects of the disease for the female body can be more serious than for the stronger sex. Stroke in women aged 18 to 40 years happens much more often than men. The probability of developing the disease increases during pregnancy, with consistent use of contraceptives. Symptoms of ongoing ischemia young women often ignore.

Stroke brain is more likely in women who have frequent mood swings, not balanced, not stress.

The first symptoms are very diverse. It all depends on what part of the brain was damaged. When left-sided lesions of the signs of stroke can be observed on the right side of the body, and when the right is on the left.

Traditional stroke symptoms:

• headache;

• depression of consciousness;

• vomiting;

• coma;

• seizures;

• increased body temperature;

• stiff neck;

• disorientation.

The reason for the urgent call "ambulance" means any of the following symptoms:

• sudden weakness;

• loss of sensation on one side of the body (face, limbs);

• sudden blurred vision;

• difficulty with speech, understanding simple phrases;

• dizziness;

• loss of coordination and balance;

• intense headache that suddenly arose and nothing is impossible to explain;

• loss of consciousness;

• face crimson-red;

• slow and intense pulse;

• frequent, deep, often, wheezing breath;

• fever;

• no reaction of pupils to light;

• paralysis opposite to the lesion side.

Such clear signs of stroke require immediate hospitalization. We should not hope that they "held their own". Immediate appeal to the doctors can save the life of the patient and prevent irreversible consequences.
