Found truly effective and efficient way of dealing with stress. It turns out that drawing helps to calm down quickly. Art therapy, the researchers said, should be applied in most cases, the treatment of anxiety disorders.

The experiment involved 39 volunteers. Subjects offered in the course of 45 minutes to draw everything you want. Volunteers have all the possible tools and colors to paint. No restrictions.

Before the drawing and after the people took saliva samples. It turned out that art therapy in 75% of cases reduced the level of stress hormone. In some cases, has decreased significantly.

Interestingly, the painting helped to cope with anxiety even in case of complete inability to draw. Apparently, the process is important, not the end result.
