The experiment simulating the Martian conditions of existence completed

For the last eight months of voluntary study participants lived in a specially constructed on the slopes of a dormant volcano experimental station.

Experts from NASA announced the completed experiment, whose goal was the reconstruction in terms of Land conditions as close as possible to those who expect the colonialists in the case of landing on the Red planet.

Six volunteers, after a long eight months was able to leave the specific complex, located on one of the slopes of the dormant volcano Mauna Loa (Hawaii).

The website of the local University reports that the platform for research is a domed building with an area of one hundred eleven square meters, completely isolated from the outside world, since the 19th of January.

The study has helped scientists to make a more detailed picture of how life in the Martian environment will affect the members of the expedition, their emotional and physical state.
