Teenagers are aggressive because of the characteristics of the brain

Aggressive behavior of adolescents is due to some peculiarities of the structure of the brain. Scientists conducted a study and evaluated the structures of the nervous system of the younger generation.

It was found that the decrease in gray matter volume in the Insula Reille, in the prefrontal cortex and the tonsils of the brain affects the behavior of adolescents. The gray matter determines most of the higher functions of the nervous system of man, say British experts. They conducted a study involving 400 young people with behavioural and 350 adolescents without mental disorders.

Despite the fact that the researchers were able to answer important questions, to explain the supposed cause of aggression, the number of questions outnumber the answers. Scientists expect to continue research in a specified direction for the development of special methods of correction of the psychological status of children.
