Swimming makes kids smart

According to scientists from Griffith University educational studies, children earlier than the rest of them learned to swim a little faster master development milestones. In the study scientists participated 7000 mothers whose children had reached by the time of 3,4 and 5 years. After this 180 selected from all participants in children has been extensively tested.

The results of the research allowed scientists to draw conclusions about what the children trained swimming, much faster than the others, given the development of a variety of new skills that will be a valuable tool when they go to study in pre-school institution or school.

Analyzing socio-economic factors, researchers are faced with interesting results: the floating of children showed more development of visuo-motor skills. All swimmers demonstrated better reading and counting. Interestingly, the study found that sex differences do not affect the result.
