A group of researchers from McGill University studied the brain reaction to the emotions expressed in words and sounds. Estimated three main emotions: sadness, joy and anger, says Science World Report.
The experiment involved 24 volunteers. They were asked to listen to a series of sounds and read words. The study showed that the sounds arouse people's emotions longer than the text. Especially sharply the volunteers reacted to the anger. Scientists believe that this emotion in the brain play a special role.
According to the results of another study, on a person's mood can affect the sound of his own voice. It helps to listen to your voice in a happy mood, to get rid of negativity, experts say.
