Earlier studies have established that eating large quantities of fruit juices or reduce blood pressure. A recent study found that it is actually, but the role of fruit remains unknown. According to lead author Linda surveys UD-Flu, on the basis of the results obtained in the result of the research, it is impossible to set fruit effect on lowering blood pressure, or anything else.

Doctor UD-Flu together with colleagues analyzed data from the experiment, which was attended 4680 people of both sexes median age, elected to participate in a random way in the United States, China, Japan and the UK. Researchers asked study participants to recall what they ate the day before, and also measured their blood pressure. A similar procedure was carried out three weeks later. Blood pressure of the participants was maintained at around 120/80 or slightly below. Based on these results, no Association between consumption of fruit and blood pressure were found.

It should also be noted that the study was not widespread, and in addition was studied only one category of people and for a certain period of time. However, the obtained results can be used to conduct more large-scale studies, as the main limitation of the latter study was the fact that dietary intake was assessed within just one day. Data time period cannot be the idea of everyday normal human diet.
