Experts from Grenoble University established: chilli increases testosterone production in men. The hormone makes a man masculine and active in sex. Only the study involved 114 men aged 18-44 years, writes The Telegraph.
The scientists measured the levels of testosterone in men before a meal and after. All volunteers offered mashed potatoes and some sauces. Men who chose the spicy chili sauce, scientists noted a pronounced jump in the level of male hormone.
Testosterone makes a man to take risks, to test our strength, to seek thrills. Scientists suggest that spicy foods can help in establishing hormonal status. But do not forget, spicy foods harmful for people with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
