In the experiment participated 1800 men aged 55-65 years. The researchers divided the volunteers into three groups. In the first group were people with alcohol addiction, the second – moderate drinkers, the third non-drinkers.
Scientists have found that moderate consumption of alcohol only increases the lifespan. According to the results of the experiment, 69% of athletes do not live up to 65 years. Moreover, among alcoholics this figure is lower – 49% among moderate drinkers – 60%.
