Scientists: women cope with negative emotions worse than men

Researchers from the University of Montreal in the framework of recent studies have proven that women are more sensitive to irritants, it's harder to cope with negative emotions than men. This writes The Times of India.

Only in the experiment was attended by 25 women and 21 men. The subjects were shown pictures and asked about the emotions that these photos evoke. At the time of the assessment, the scientists conducted brain scans of volunteers. It turned out that the nervous system of men and women responds to negative factors in different ways.

Women annoying things caused significantly more pronounced emotional response. Scientists suggest that the reason for the difference lies in the testosterone, its high concentration provides tranquility and calmness. That is why men do not tend to focus on their feelings.
