Special analysis will reveal inflammation in the brain and will allow to diagnose Alzheimer's disease at a very early stage. The result, says the scientific journal Brain.
A group of researchers from the Karolinska Institute investigated the health status of 52 people with various forms of Alzheimer's disease: from conventional to genetic and hereditary forms. The researchers concluded that the first signs of the disease can be identified even 20 years before the start of the progression of the disease. Alzheimer's most often makes itself felt after the age of 55. The possibility of diagnosing the disease in 30-35 years – a great breakthrough in medicine, experts say.
A number of medicines tested. Perhaps in the near future doctors will learn to delay Alzheimer's disease and even cure these patients. So far, this pathology has no effective means of treatment.
