Scientists: regular brushing protects against heart disease

Scientists from Florida in the framework of scientific studies have proven that regular brushing can reduce the risk of myocardial infarction.

Data were able to establish when studying the relationship between diseases of the gums and heart disease. Sometimes the bacteria in the mouth can enter the bloodstream and get to the heart and art.

To confirm this information, scientists have carried out the experience. When injected into muscle tissue bacteria significantly increased cholesterol levels, increased inflammation in the tissues. These factors are fundamental in the pathogenesis of myocardial infarction.

Scientists from Florida are advised not to forget about the regular and timely oral hygiene. This will avoid the adverse side effects of the cardiovascular system.

Previously, scientists have published the results of a study in which they found a link between oral hygiene, diseases of the gums and sexual problems in men. It turned out that bleeding gums in some cases reduces erectile function.
