Scientists from the Hebrew University conducted an experiment on laboratory mice and found: in non pregnant individuals after the operation, the liver was restored to 82% in two weeks. Among old mice figure was 46%, according to The Daily Mail.
In pregnancy in young mice regeneration of liver cells occurred at 96%. Old pregnant mice decreased the damage to the heart. Interestingly, the positive effect lasted only for 2 months, and then disappeared without a trace.
