Scientists from the UK conducted an analysis of diet and lifestyle in 171 thousands of women. During the research it was found that the flavonoids contained in apples, oranges, red wine and tea, helps the body protect against the development of ovarian cancer.
Experts watched the women for 30 years. At the beginning of observation volunteers were from 25 to 49 years. Research has proven that consumption of products containing a large number of flavonoids has a positive effect on overall health and reduces the risk of cancer. Especially pronounced result is achieved in the prevention of ovarian cancer in women.
Flavon IDA is a typical "defenders" of cells from the group of antioxidants. These compounds protect cells from oxidative processes, extend life and prevent abnormal cell division, the formation of cancerous tumors.
