Scientists have discovered the relationship between duration of sleep and obesity. Just experiment was attended by 14 volunteers. The subjects were divided into two groups. The first group was supposed to sleep 7.5 hours a night, the second for 4 hours.

During the study, volunteers completed surveys about their well-being, mood and appetite. We will note, the people were given identical food. At the same time representatives of the group, sleeping for only 4 hours a day, more often scientists complained of the lack of food.

The experiment proves that sleep deprivation even for a short period of time may lead to serious disorders. On long-term consequences known to all: lack of sleep is one of the main reasons for the development of mental diseases, diabetes mellitus and pathology of the cardiovascular system.
