Scientists: lack of sleep is more dangerous than nicotine and alcohol

Experts from the University of Cambridge and Rand Europe believe that alcohol and cigarettes do not affect the productivity of a person. The main rule is to sleep more than 7 hours a day. The statement has been confirmed in the study with the participation of 21000 employees of British firms, writes The Daily Mail.

On productivity, in addition to sleep deprivation, is influenced by psychological problems, diseases of joints and spine. Bullying and the constant criticism from the authorities also reduced the fruitfulness of the work.

Lack of sleep leads to the accumulation of stress and reduced efficiency. Scientists from Uppsala University recently installed, one sleepless night is like a blow to the head. Violation of connections between the neurons and the accumulation of hazardous chemicals speed up the process of aging and increase the risk of developing Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's, multiple sclerosis.
