Computer interfaces can replace trips to the doctor in the very near future, scientists believe from Australia. Computer programs will allow you to remotely install the diagnoses and prescribe treatment.
In the modern study involved 500 people with chronic diseases. First of all the volunteer doctors examined and confirmed the diagnosis. Then people were divided into three groups. The first group is regularly consulted by phone, the second group used the advice of doctors not so often. People from the third group in the experiment can access remote consultation only in cases of emergency.
In two months, a representative of the first group spent on conversations with doctors on the phone on average 68 minutes, the second group – 30 minutes, three – 5 minutes. Scientists have found that regular consultations improved the patient's condition, shooting pain, reduce the severity of symptoms.
