Scientists: HIV was first discovered in Kinshasa in the 1920-ies

A group of scientists from the University of Leuven and Oxford have found that the history of the development of the HIV virus has about one century. HIV was first detected in Kinshasa in the 1920-ies.

To date, the virus has infected more than 75 million people. From immunodeficiency and there is no effective remedies, the disease is transmitted sexually and through blood.
