Scientists: heat makes people aggressive

Researchers from Ohio University found a correlation between the outside temperature and level of crime. The results of the work done, says the publication Behavior and Brain Sciences.

If you look at crime rates in different countries, you notice that closer to the equator the number of offenders per thousand people increases. Scientists suggest there are two reasons to explain the phenomenon: the level of development of these countries and the climate in them. Apparently, the heat increases the aggressiveness of people.

The hot climate is pushing many to life one day." Other studies have shown that high temperature reduces the degree of self-control makes people both more liberated and aggressive.

Even in the heat of making more social contacts. More meetings – no more conflict. Hence higher the chances of committing a crime.
