Sleep is a matter of purely individual. Someone needs 9-10 hours daily in order to feel relaxed, someone can sleep and for 4-5 hours. There are recommendations that adults need about seven hours of sleep per night, children should sleep more.

Most sleep should newborn babies. Older people need about 7-8 hours. According to statistics, every third working person sleeps a maximum of six hours. Chronic sleep deprivation is a serious problem that can damage the whole body. It is known that lack of sleep leads to an increased risk of developing diabetes, depression and cancer.

Newborns (0 to 4 months) - 14-17 hours
Children children age 4 to 11 months) - 12-15 hours
Children 1-2 years old - 11-14 hours
Children from 3 to 5 years 10-13 hours
Students in primary and secondary grades 9-11 hours
Teens - 8-10 hours
Adults up to 64 years) - 7-9 hours
