The experiment involved 35 volunteers. While they were sleeping, the scientists examined the brain activity of the subjects. Nothing new at first was not open. It turned out that this unusual condition is vital for the normal functioning of the nervous system. During dreams, the brain arranges the information on the shelves and settles down, gets rid of unnecessary and unpleasant memories. Often dreams help to resolve emotional problems.
