Pharmaceutical companies regularly update range of antibiotics, releasing a new generation of drugs. Bacteria can develop resistance to most drugs, this is why the struggle between scientists and bacteria are increasingly winning the last.
The most dangerous situation is with hospital infections. The hospital is a special environment, if the bacterium survives in conditions of constant application of antiseptics, then stop it extremely difficult.
Experts from the University of Berne began the development of a new generation of drugs aimed at treating bacterial infections. It is based on lipids and nanotechnology with application of microscopic particles. Drug liposome, scientists believe, can transform the pharmaceutical market and to give impetus to the development of antibacterial drug therapy.
