In the experiment, the scientists took more than four thousand modified species of yeast. In their genetic code changes have been introduced. Through trial and error found out that in yeast cells during the aging process are responsible 238 genes.
However, scientists did not stop there. Special attention was paid to the gene LOS1. If the gene has detectivereverse, the lifespan of the cells increased by 60%. Now we have to find similar structures in the cells of other organisms and to conduct appropriate tests.
