Scientists analyzed data about the health of 1171 patients. Has been studied almost 8 thousand images of the brain obtained from different diagnostic machines. Additionally take into account information about blood counts, cerebrospinal fluid and cognitive abilities of the patients.
As it turned out, the slowing of blood flow in the brain is the first factor contributing to the development of Alzheimer's disease. Note, this reason is not specific. It can also lead to the emergence of other diseases of the nervous system.
