Scientists have identified the causes of depression in women

Edition of The Daily Mail published the results of a study of leading U.S. experts in the field of psychology, which came to the conclusion that the propensity of women and men to different types of illnesses are psychological in nature due to differences in the structure of their brain.

According to the publication, the brain men are more massive, but the female brain has a high activity and never dwells in a calm state. This difference in brain structure, according to American scientists, determines the response of women and men on psychological illness.

For example, women are more susceptible to fluctuations of the magnetic field, resulting depression, this is due to the vulnerability of the female limbic system of the brain which is responsible for emotional processing. Therefore, dementia and migraine usually considered truly "female" diseases.

As for men, they are characterized by all kinds of neurological diseases. The most common are schizophrenia and Parkinson's disease. Symptoms last disease in men, there are much more severe.

Another important advantage of the woman's brain is its ability to remember large amounts of information and be kept longer. At the same time, women are prone to the development of neurodegenerative diseases of the character, one of the brightest representatives of which is Alzheimer's disease.
