Scientists have found in beet protein of human blood

Swedish scientists in the study proved, beet contains protein, also part of human blood. We are talking about hemoglobin. This substance is responsible for the transport of oxygen and carbon dioxide in all animals.

Beets contain high amounts of hemoglobin. Scientists are advised to periodically consume fresh juice of beets. This will help in the prevention of anemia associated with lack of transport system of the blood.

Note, the protein of beet and human hemoglobin have different structures, but researchers plan to adapt vegetable compound. There is hope that the matter will be the basis of synthetic blood for transfusions. Experiments and tests will occupy scientists for at least three years.
