Scientists have found a gene that helps kids to learn languages

Scientists in the global study has found a gene robo2 on. Structure, as it turns out, is responsible for the development of speech in children. Further study of the gene showed the dependence of its modifications and the number of words that the child knows to 15-18 months.

Experts have analyzed the genetic structure of children from the Netherlands, Finland, Australia and Britain. The results of the study were published in the scientific journal Nature Communications.

Just was studied 10 thousand children. Scientists have observed changes in some children in the third chromosome, in part of the gene robo2 on. Further analysis showed that the modification is reflected on the abilities of children to language learning and memorizing new words.

Scientists believe that linguistic knowledge is in children, spontaneous nature of the experiment. Children combine words and syllables, getting new grammatical skills.
