Experts from Vodafone and Germanskogo Institute of medical research tried to combine the power and portability of mobile devices and to channel modern technology into the scientific mainstream. The result is an app that can search for a drug against cancer. While the program is running, the intervention of scholars is not required, writes NDTV.

The app is called DreamLab. During operation, it takes one little task in cancer research. If the problem is managed, the information is transmitted to scientists on the Amazon cloud. The more users a program has, the better the efficiency.

If 100,000 people will use DreamLab, the data processing speed will be accelerated cancer 3,000 times. If the program installs and runs 5 million people, the efficiency will increase to 150 thousand times.
