Scientists have developed a test for the likelihood of imminent death

Scientists from Sweden have developed a test to determine the risk of death in the next five years. Method only works with people aged 40-70 years. The test itself takes less than five minutes. Need answering 13 questions that the program has given a preliminary assessment, writes The Lancet.

For the development of a test are required to collect data on the health status and lifestyle 500 thousand volunteers from Britain. Within five years after the study of them died 8,500. On the basis of the information scientists have created a program to determine the risk of death.

Bad habits are among the risks of premature death, increases the probability of death of a violation of road traffic, the speed of movement when crossing the road and many other factors.

Interestingly, overweight and alcohol abuse almost does not influence the probability of dying in the next five years.
