
Scientists at Princeton University have developed a method by which one can refuse from the needle when determining the level of blood sugar. The laser should replace the blood. The accuracy of the tests, writes Biomedical Optics Express, 84%, a good result for Express-analysis.
Authorship development belongs Sabiru Lakata and his research group. The laser had to try on three patients without diabetes. The volunteers had to eat a serving of glucose, after which the researchers measured their blood sugar level by attaching a laser to the center of the palm.

These analyses specialists compared with the new method and were satisfied with the accuracy of the result. It is quite possible that soon the world will get a new method of determining blood sugar level without the use of needles.
